I'll have to say the hammer, either made of stone or not. It allowed us to hunt for food, crack open bones for bone marrow (when we were still scavengers), build houses, build stone objects, write words in stone back then. We used hammers for making swords, metal objects, etc. and of course, the wheel probably wouldnt have been made if it wasnt for the HAMMER banging on the stone to make it perfectly round

hmm.....probably the internet is full of use, but something not needed for survival. I would say an ax and any simple tools. you use it to build a house, for fuel (cut trees) to make house items, to do many survival things.
