my computer is making strange noises...it used to be more of grinding sound, now it sounds like more whirring with a small amount of grinding. What's going on? Will it explode??

If that is your hard drive, TURN your computer off NOW. You should get a new hard drive right away, and install that. Once the new drive is working, configure your old drive as a SLAVE and copy the data into place. (not programs).
You see, when a drive starts to EAT itself, your time is short. GOOD LUCK

Hard Drive is going bad get info off of it now. and get a new one installed..

u should get a new hard drive it only 99.99$
it will not explode.and 99.99$ is the satrting point!!
