(y + 10)/(x - 2) = (-3/7)

cross multiply

7(y + 10) = -3(x - 2)
y + 10 = (-3/7)(x - 2)
y = (-3/7)(x - 2) - 10

y = (-3(x - 2) - 70)/7
y = (-3x + 6 - 70)/7
y = (-3x - 64)/7

y = (-3/7)x - (64/7)

well you move the (x-2) over so it becomes y+10= -3/7(x-2)
then you subtract 10

I'm sure you can do the calculations yourself...
