Well, this is how it works out:
AGES 1-10: Can't pronounce it; calls himself 'Nick'.
AGES 10-20: Other kids begin to understand the origin of the name, and start taunting him by calling him 'Titus'. This, eventually, is cruelly shortened to just 'Tit'.
AGES 20-30: Lonely and emotionally scarred, he spends hours alone in the gym and coffing his hair, leading to several lucrative male modelling contracts. He now goes by 'Andronicus', always in full, no surname.
AGES 30-40: Launches self-named aftershave range. The ad campaign features a naked Andronicus in various erotic poses and the tagline: 'Eat me.'
AGES 40-50: Gives up modelling career, and writes a series of horrendously bitchy but best-selling novels about the industry, under the pen name 'Bela J. Andronowski'. (You need a middle initial, you just need it. Plus a tacky embossed paperback cover.)
AGE 50 onwards: 'Just call me Ron.'

I think that's a sweet name. if you raise him as a good person then people should like him no matter what his name is, and he will probably appreciate his unique name more as he grows up. I personally have a very unique name, and I love being "the only one people have ever met"!
(besides which...as others have pointed out, he could always go by andy if he's bothered by his name in school. can't really go wrong there!)

O hells ya. I made fun of kids at school for being named Patrick, you dont want to know what i would have done to a kid named androniwahtever. I HOPE you dont put your child through years of torment and later, years of psychology because you wanted to name him somehting unique. Try something more like Brad or Jake. If you really want to be unique, go for Timo or Sergio. Just not friggin adrondiwhaty.
