Most people act like that because they aren't face-to-face with someone. They have "big man" syndrome because there are no repercussions for their stupid actions. Most of them woudn't have the guts to be that bold if they were actually standing in front of them. People like that are simply cowards.

Some people do, I think some of it may have to do what kind of question was asked. For example, I would not really care about answering the question "what's your favorite ketchup/catsup, and why?" But if it was something that is obviously important to the asker, than I try to answer in a caring way, if I have something to say on the topic that may help. Maybe yahoo should invent a 'smarta$$' section for the people who don't?

If you are a courteous person, it is a way of life. Any and all communication are done with respect. There aren't many reasons to treat another person mean and disrespectful. If you have class you can avoid it.

I know that I do, but i'm not scared to state my feelings, but I usually tell them at the beginning that I am a blunt person so they can see where I'm coming from.

yes...problems that people share online, might be the almost same thing another person is going through. sharing these problems allows us to relate to one another without being judgemental since we dont know one another, but we still have that emotion of sympathy...its a good way to get one another through a tough time..
