I hope so, I feel the same. I could sleep for 20 hours straight, then wake up and feel like a nap 20 min. later. I don't sleep very well at night anymore either.

During my pregnancy, I would go from being exhausted to having a great day where I felt absolutely wonderful. From what I remember, at 22 weeks, yeah I was tired. I was lucky enough to not have a job and take naps all day. But around the 7 month, I started to perk up and feel like I could take on anything.
Around the 36th to 40 week, it will hit you again because you have this almost complete human being living inside you and it drains you.
Another thing, are you anemic?

I'm only 14 weeks and all I do is sleep all day. It's normal for you to feel tired maybe all through your pregnancy. Especially with the sinus infection your lucky to be walking around at all. If you can I would get as much rest as possible and you should feel better in a couple of days. If not I would contact my doctor.

Yes! I had heard that you have tons of energy during the second trimester, but I never did. I was exhausted the entire time I was pregnant and, sorry to say this, it was worse once the baby was born. Heck, he's almost three and I'm STILL tired! Don't forget that you are still recovering from your infection so that will definitely have an effect on your energy level. You could be anemic, though, and that would require a blood test. If you are more tired than you have been during your pregnancy to date, I would give it maybe a week to be over the infection. If it doesn't improve speak to your doctor, just in case. Better to be safe than sorry.

Not only is it normal for an infection, or allergies or sinuses to make you tired, but the antibiotics too, and your body is fighting off an infection and working harder for the pregnancy, im surprised you can keep your eyes open. It is normal, just take frequent naps if you can, drink plenty of water...you should notice a slight difference once the infection is gone, but it is normal to be exhausted all through your pregnancy.

I think it is normal.. I was tired for the first 3 or 4 months.. then there was maybe a couple months in between that i felt great.. and towards the end of my pregnanct i became very tired again and i couldnt stay up any later then 8:00pm... but take in to consideration that your body is changing through out this whole thing.. and the baby is taking EVERYTHING from you. So i believe that it is pretty normal

It's very normal during almost any time during the pregnancy to feel like somthing (or shall we say someone) is sucking the energy out of you...it's also common with not feeling well also. I'd try to nap when I could hon...before you know it, your little one will be here and for the first year (at least lol) most mom's get the feeling of sleep deprivation.

You are pregnant, and your body is on a time limit, working hard to make another human being. Try to understand that you are going to very fatigue and tired a lot more now than you were at the beginning. I am 36 weeks preg. and I am tired ALL THE TIME!!! lol, it does suck though. Good Luck gurrly.

Sinus infections can drag you down big time. That compounded with pregnancy is bound to make you super-tired. 22 weeks should not give you extreme fatigue. I suspect it's the sinus infection that is dragging you down.
