I don't know how many of you look at the votes on unresolved questions, but I find myself disappointed by the evident bias. It seems like the first answer recieves automatic votes for being at the top, whether or not it's a good answer. It smells like a lot of people don't care about their vote, and they just want a point. I suppose it's good that the voting occurs, and there's nothing wrong with getting more points, but it just seems like a shame that better answers are ignored by a good percentage of voters. What do you say?

PLEASE DO NOT VOTE FOR THE FIRST ANSWER! Nothing against you, Proud~American, I just want to see what happens when I put this up to a vote.

I think it's because they were the quickest. Maybe if the 'askers' really cared, they'd have chosen in a timely manner.

I've also noticed that. That would therefore justify, on basis of those looking for points alone, those who answer with a (*) to simply write their answer with their spot held. But here's a secret to get a high level from the lack of voters. Go back into your answers and go to every question that says "In Voting" Vote for your own answer and Bam! Ten points for that question. You'll get the point the next time you log into Yahoo! Answers. (The next day at minimum) You get points by the hundreds this way, and over night. One thing is apparent, in everything, for every door closed, one is opened. For every loser, there, somewhere or somehow, must exist a winner. The logic will make sense when you think about it in that respect. One must realise though, that the best rewards are given from Win-Win situations.

The only people who vote on those are people scrambling to get a high enough level that they can ask/answer all they want.

I agre but it's yahoo rules. That's why I always choose the answer I feel is best from my questions. Idiots get to much clout here.
