i asked a question about my grandson one day. got some terrific answers. him and his mother lives with us. my oldest daughter is unable to get pregnant and my next daughter had major surgery at the age of 16 for endo. removal included1tube,1ovary & 1/2ovary. her chances of becoming pregnant was rated very low. so,even though she wasn't married, i was happy. she and the father does not entertain one another anymore but they are on friendly terms. he pays child support. our daughter has very odd work hours. she works from 1:30to10pm. the father works during the day. our grandson is with us till 5:30, when he comes pick him up and keep him til she gets off, then he brings him home. he does this about 4 days a week. i get teary eyed every time he leaves with his daddy because i won't see him anymore till the next a.m. when he wakes up. i told my husband i wish he was ours, he says then you just wish, because it ain't happening. i just miss him when he's not around.
thus, am i losing it?

No your not losing it, your just a doting grandma. However, you are blessed that the boy's father is taking an active part in his life, both financially and emotionally. As your grandson grows, you will realize that this is right and proper and learn to appreciate the father for what he is. A caring parent.

not exactly but yes u are in that love vibe more then what was given to u to look after ur grandchild....its ok and its natural and its human....so i would best advise u make the best of what things are around....cherise the moments u have wid him....things in this world are not bound to be there for anyone always..all things change as time passes...one day u may not get to see him after all he may be settled happily somehere with guess who knows his own family ....morality of the day is u love him lots and u dont have to ask anything in return....what u are doing is ur free will so keep up with the good job and live life everyday with the concept yes u gonna still adore him cherise him and who knows pray for him that he has a bright future....as for u u got what it takes some happy moments with the kid so yes dear....enjoy life as it treats u.....cheers!!!!!!!!!!
