The job is an entry level position..however, I may be a bit more qualified..should I mention this in the interview or wait until salary requirements to state my overall experience. I have close to three years experience yet job description mentions 1-2 years.

In an interview I have always found it better not to disclose too much information until you find out what exactly your job description will be and what the salary will be as well as benefits.

If the salary and benefits are lower than your expectations then disclose your experience.

As a hiring Manager though I have to tell you that most entry level positions have a fixed salary due to budgets, therefore you may want to find out how often increases are given and then evaluate the salary.
