A
I'm a chemist.
The arrow shows the "direction" of the reaction. On one side, you have things that react to go to things they produce. The things that react are called reactants, the things they produce are called products, easy enough, huh? The arrow just shows that when you mix the reactants together, they will be more likely to "move" to the products. You can have something that looks like this:
products <------- reactants
It is just a tricky way of saying the same thing, so keep your eyes open for it on quizes.
Sometimes, you will see a sign that is like an equal sign with half arrows pointing both ways, this is called an equilibrium, and it means that both sides react to go both ways, but you don't have to worry about that now.

A is correct, because reactants lead to products, hence the line and arrow.

The answer is A because the chemicals REACT on one side in order to PRODUCE the end result and they aren't really equal to each other hence the reason for the arrow shape.

It s always reactants on the left, product on the right an arrow facing right is between them.

a) reactants->Products
It is in the arrow and not the '=' because not all chemical reaction are reversible; they move in one predictable direction.
