Cranberry juice flushes the bladder and kidneys well also you can get azo-standard over the counter and follow the directions it will turn your urine orange for awhile but that means it's getting in there to work but if it's more than just a slight irritation then you should get to the dr and get some antibiotics it can get quite serious left untreated Good Luck

I have had bladder infection problems most of my life, but I found that I can help prevent it by the simple use of cranberries. The juice, the fruit its self and what take is cranberry pills available from any health food store or at most drug stores.
A doctor AMA appoved remedy.

I have one functioning kidney and have had many many UTI's (Urinary Tract Infections....bladder ect) and I always keep cranberry juice on hand for it. If it's real bad (the painful burning constantly feeling like you have to pee sensation) I sit and drink about a gallon (I know...most people don't like the taste...I know I don't but it really works). The only downfall of it is it could cause diarreah, but it clears the infection up pretty fast.

Goodness, this seems to be a popular question today. Drink lots of fluids, water and acidic juices, not pop or heavily caffeinated drinks, or sugary stuff. Eat yogurt with active bacteria cultures..Be sure to wipe from front to back, not the other way around, when you are toileting. If these methods do not clear it up within 2 days, see a dr.

early on, alka seltzer, two tabs in six ounces of water every six hours will often resolve a budding UTI. If it has been more than three days, you need to get antibiotics.
