I am single mother in an extremely bad situation, and i need about 8000.00.+ the reason for this loan is to relocate my daughter and I to a different location as well as purchase a vehicle for us. My ex- fiance, the father of my child has been trying to end my life for quite a while now, and this is my last resource for help. I have numerous protective orders and restraints against him but those don't do any good, because the police can never seem to catch him. I make good money at my place of employment, so repaying a loan on a monthly basis will not be an issue, however i need a lump sum to accomplish my goals and to remove us from this situation as soon as possible. I've tried other resources, but unfortunately because of my eight year relationship with this man, he left my credit in shambles, most of wich was not to my knowledge. I am now in the process of clearing all of this up, but i really need some help.

No this is not a joke or a scam, this is my life. Thanks for the shelter suggestions but to those of you who has never been to one, its not the best place for a two year old to be and for those of you who want to know why i need 8K?, its because you possibly find any other decent place to live without good credit and because of him my credit is horrible. just getting up and leaving is not that easy especially when there is a child involved, so please keep all the negative comments, i have enough in my life as it is.

Assuming your serious . Why do you need 8grand ? If you really need to escape just go . I Have bought good running cars for $400. My wife was in similar situation nearly 30 yrs ago and left with minimal belongings.

first of you dont need 8 thousand dollars to relocate, where ever you want to go they offer apartments for first month free 99$ down there every where. even if its only temporary. NEXT moving your stuff have a yard sale get some extra cash and lighten your load at the same time. uhaul has a van or some truck for very reasonable rates dont buy the insurance save
money. when you get there call around to every dealer ship you can find and ask whats the cheapest car they have , i picked up a car for 500.00 and they let me pay in increments of 100.
ITS ONLY TEMPORARY YOU CAN UPGRADE AS YOU GO .
there are lots of places that work with bad credit . GOOD LUCK

You really expect someone on the internet, who you've never met, to loan you $8,000? The only thing I can tell you is to seek a women's shelter. If you make as much money as you say you do, then save up the $8,000 and move after that.

I'm not sure I understand why someone making "good money" would need to borrow $8,000?

Go to a shelter. There are several good shelters in the Richmond, VA area.

if you're serious, try a women's shelter, a christian charity, catholic charities, or a government help site.
try used car websites, or www.craigslist.com
you can find a reliable car for $2000; also check out housing options. there are plenty available, especially in large cities, for 1-room rentals for a house. you could find a place to stay for $200/month at a house. find one near public transportation, or get a coworker to drive you to work. you are not going to find someone online to loan you $8000

Marie, Your life is at stake so go to the shelter NOW. Yes, I have been in one, and let me say this, "I am alive and doing better for having done so." If you don't go for your sake, think of your child. You need counseling, and support which you will find at the shelter. They have medical and dental care available also.

Nothing will change until you decide to change it. You can do it. It beats the alternative. GO NOW PLEASE.

You need to find out where your local shelter for abused women is located. Maybe an attorney, police officer, doctor, or nurse can help you locate one. I feel so sorry for you. Don't wait for someone to give you $8,000. before you leave, you could be dead by then.

go to a shelter and tell them of the threats, some shelters operate safe houses and some even have ways to get you out of the area
all at no cost to you ...when they realize the imminent threat , you will be taken care of ...many shelters also work closley with law enforcement.

Have you considered seeing if you can get into some sort of protection program where the gov't gives you a new home and identity? If you can, then we'll all be helping you out through our taxes.
