I have checked the caps lock and that is not the problem? Is there a way to contact Yahoo to ask someone there?

try making sure your caps lock is off it also messes up your password if its case sensitive, either that or someone has gotten ahold of ur password and changed it

Even if you have had an account for years if you haven't used it for 30 days it might delete itself. Or if someone hacked into your account and deleted it. One way to check if its working is to re-register using the exact password and username. If it saids someone has that already you know it still works.
Also if you changed the setup of your computer and any yahoo, messenger files -maybe even cookies- were deleted it may not work.

Hi!
I don´t know the reason but I have the same problem also sometimes. Now I try to be patient for a while and usually the next day it works again.
This is not really helpful but don´t panic!

check cap locks, the passwords are case sensitive. Not much help, but first thought.

just a temporary glitch. it's best to have several accounts. when this happens i just log in using a different id

sometimes it helps to coldstart your computer to reset things

i have had this id for 10 years. so if you have been around that long you must remember when geocities was still called http://www.geopages.com/ :)
