Absolutely. The only truly reliable test is a professional test. Planned Parenthood will do it for $10 and provide counseling for another $10 if needed.

If you miss a pill and then double up the next day, you are not protected from pregnancy for that month. In other words, if you miss a pill, you need to use another form of birth control for the rest of the month, such as condoms and spermicidal inserts, each time you have intercourse. Or you could get pregnant.
For best protection from the pill, you need to take it at the same time of day every single day. If you are having trouble with this, you might consider getting the Mirena IUD or Depo-Provera injections.
Wait three days and then take another test, using first morning urine. Don't drink any liquids for a couple of hours before bed the night before you take the test. The brand doesn't really matter, but First Response is supposed to be the most reliable, according to consumer reports.
If your spotting was VERY VERY light (pink or brown) rather than red, it might be implantation bleeding, which could mean you are pregnant. However, it could also be that your period is kind of weird this month because you didn't take your pills right.

all pregnancy tests arn't accurate
if you want to know for sure you should go see your doctor and have them run the test also i don't think the ones at the dollar tree are the most accurate cause they're only a buck
ne of this make sense?
also 2 days late isn't that unusual
if you just started exercizing regularily it might be the cause or if you started eating something new

well.. it is possible that you are pregnant.... you can use test when your period is just one day late... it is not good to miss days when you on a birth control, because if you double it, that doesn't help... than you have the same effect like you never been on a birth control....
i think you should visit your doctor just to be sure and to get real results....

I would go to the doctor and have yourself checked out thotoughly. There might be another underlying problem especially if you were having problems while on the pill. And yes you can get a negitive on an over the counter test. Go in for a complete exam and blood workup.

The pee types of test never worked early in my pregnancy (up to 6 weeks) The only real way to tell is to have a blood test done.

If you used your first morning urine & it still came back neg. & youa re late then I owuld call the doc. It could be that you're too early for it to show up on a urine test & you need a blood test.

While it is possible, it's highly unlikely. Your best bet is to go see your doctor, or go to a clinic.
Remember, your mind is a very powerful thing. I once knew someone who convinced herself that she was pregnant (when in fact she wasn't), and she got all the signs and symptoms...even got milk in her breasts, believe it or not. Just go to the doctor's and ask him about it.
