I have never had a boyfriend that doesn't look at porn. I don't like it and it makes me feel like I am not enough for them and that if he had the chance to have sex with a girl he found arousing that he would cheat. Am I wrong? Is it 'normal'?

my guy(fiance) lies about it now and deletes it out of the history so he thinks i don't know he looks and will lie to me about it when I ask him, but I know where to look on the comp to find out he does and can see he still does it.

not ALL men. there are plenty of fundies out there that think it's evil.

Porn is normal. It's a $100 billion industry, so it's not like just the fringe of society is doing it.

Ok, just so you know, you could be Cindy Crawford. You could make Pam Anderson look like that new ugly chick show on ABC. You could actually BE Halle Berry. Guess what? Your man will STILL look at other women and porn. I'm not going to attempt to rationalize it or anything. Just don't take it personal, and maybe you can even get into it. my g/f loves the stuff.

The guys who look at porn have different reasons. Some are curious, some just horny, some do it instinctively and some are addicted. There are other reasons i've always liked photos and paintings of nude women because i love the female form but actual hardcore doesn't really interest me.

My wife and i have a commitment that goes beyond the physical it's her heart that won me over although the physical is always the first attractant it's the person we fall in love with.

Porn serves the needs of the flesh but it's like a soda. Lots of calories and doesn't fill you up.

It's become normal. However, looking at a computer screen or DVD is a long way from hitting on some random girl. It's just fantasy. You might try joining him. Do you read fashion magazines?(Girl porn) or think Brad Pitt is hot? Do you ever check out some hot guy on TV? Does that mean your boyfriend isn't enough for you and you would cheat if you met some hot guy? Probably not. I wouldn't worry. Go join in, it'll be fun. Fantasy is healthy and can be alot of fun when shared together.

Most guys I've known admit to looking at porn (this includes both of my former spouses). I don't make a big deal of it as long as it doesn't become an addiction problem (i.e., begins to interfere with daily functioning). I look at porn too, occasionally - although not nearly as much as the guys. I've never had a desire to look at it together with my partner – I kinda feel that it's a personal thing, and I would rather not know what he's looking at, as well as I wouldn't necessarly reveal what I'm looking at. But as long as it's done discreetly, I have no problem with it.

P.S. Of course he will lie to you - you're probably confrontational about it. I think, don't ask don't tell policy is best when it comes to porn.

Not all men look at porn and the ones who do not are not lying either. For someone to make that statement is very closed minded and have not experienced much outside of their own small society. I will not say that I haven't seen porn (I was in the military for many years and you become subjected to it) but I do not look at porn- don't buy books, tapes or search it on the net. My girlfriend and I have a great sexual relationship, we don't need it as an enhancement and it wouldn't be fair to her if I searched elseware. Not all men who view porn put that womans body or face of the one they are with but I personally feel it is a type of cheating. I also believe if they become addicted to the porn it is only a matter of time until they cheat especially if they don't get from there relationship what they get from the porn. Keep looking for a boyfriend that doesn't - they are out there.

Any woman who says that their man doesn't look at porn is naiive because the answer is yes all men look at porn. It is very normal and doesn't have anything to do with cheating. He loves you and wants only you but the same way a woman uses a vibrator to masterbate a man will use porn because we are very visual. Don't worry it is perfectly normal, and remeber, whatever your girlfriends are telling you about their men. The bottom line is their men are looking at porn too.

Just because a LOT of people do it, doesn't make it normal. My husband and I don't look at porn and NO he's not "lying" about it. He's never on the computer and I'd know if there were movies or magazines around my house. He's just not into dirty, disgusting photos of naked women. I think you should just break up with him before he does cheat on you and gives you a disease. Good luck.

I checked my email on my man's computer just yesterday and when i downloaded an attachment, I discovered that he indeed looks at porn... HAHA... it wasn't something I was expecting to find out right then.

Out of curiosity, I opened some of the files to see what he was looking at... wow... I looked at the date to see what was going on between us at that time...

but like that guy said up there... I don't think it really has anything at all to do with me... he is just a healthy testosterone driven MAN who likes porn. Lots of guys do... I don't think it really effects our relationship. I didn't say anything to him.

I noticed that it was over 6 weeks ago that he looked at it... so I would guess that he doesn't have an addiction problem, which would all I'd be concerned about.

The Internet makes it soooooooooooo easy to look at that stuff. Back in the olden days you would have to go buy a magazine but now it's just a click away.
