I often use www.gigwise.com
Has pretty good coverage across a wide range of venues nationwide. Allows you to search by venue also.

Though really depends on what sort of thing you are looking for. If it for big name acts most of the major ticket agencies should give good coverage. gigwise also covers acts, events and venues outside that.
