I had the same problem - think it's called hypohydriasis (or something like that) You can get a product at the chemist that you use and it effectively dries up your overactive glands. I was sooooo embarassed when I was at uni - but this stuff (If you are in AUS you can try Dri-Clor) worked in about 2 weeks and I have never looked back.

Hi,
Excessive sweating is a clinical condition where parts of the body are sweating beyond what the body needs.
It is commonly an inherited condition and can affect those who suffer from it on a social, functional, and emotional level.
Heavy sweating (also known as hyperhidrosis) is a very real and embarrassing problem, but there are some effective ways to treat it.
Before you hide under bulky sweaters or move to a chillier climate, you can try these proven techniques for combating excessive sweating: http://hyperhidrosis.toptips.org

I feel for you. I have a friend with the same problem. She has seen a surgeon about some kind of surgery they can do for that, but one of the downsides to the surgery is that the sweating will most likely start on the palm of her hands. That is the only reason she opted to not have the procedure done. Do some research on the Internet and then call your doctor to see what he thinks about it.

Good Luck.

i have the same exact problem as you there is an actual condition for it i think its something like hyperhidrosis- not really sure. i dont know if there is any cure but i know that they are special deoderants that can be presciped by a docter (i use them) and they work pretty well i just find it annoying to use and then i have herd there are other ways too such as i think botox injections (very costly)

I know you dont want to hear this but try a antiperspirant deodorant like Ban, Arrid or Certain Dri. If this doesn't work I suggest getting botoxx injections in you underarms to descrease sweating. I hear it helps alot.

i had this when i had an anxiety problem, but i would sweat all over especially my forehead, i was afraid of going anywhere where there were people, i had a short course of anti depressents, and practised going where there were people, it helped took a while though but im better at going where there are others.
