I know, I know, I'm really asking for it ~ but I think he'll be just fine.
He won't be stellar like I know he can be,
but I think he will have some great days in October!
I hope he shows everyone what he can really do
by belting out some homers!
GO A-ROD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( Dare I ask ) What's your opinion?

i like a-rod even though i'm a red sox fan. but no matter how good he does in the post-season, the prima donna yankee fans still won't be happy.

I'm a Yankee fan and I'm really worried about this.
I think that Torre should bat A-Rod 6 or 7 maybe that will relieve some pressure on him and that A-Rod should worry more about his glove than his stick.
In Sheffield the Yanks have basically a rookie first baseman and on target throws to him are going to be critical to the Yanks success. With their pitching they can't have 4-5 out innings and hope to win.

I don't expect anything offensively from him. I can only hope he doesn't make errors in the field and cost us the game on both sides. Sure he did well in September,no pressure..the team clinched and had a big lead in the AL East. He just doesn't do well in key situations. He probably shouldn't play for a big market team. It's not a question of talent,he's got plenty of that. It's mental...he over thinks and puts the pressure on himself. Guys like that will never make it when it matters. I hope I'm wrong.

I think this is the season A-Rod breaks out. It will either be in the Division Series or the Championship Series, and probably in one of the first two games of each. He won't have such a great overall postseason, but he'll certainly quiet some of the more vocal boo birds.

A-Rod has never been a clutch player. He will be good, but not worth half of what he is being paid. About the same as he has played the rest of the season.

I think it is actually going to be better this year (big knock on wood!) He is hitting well right now. His swing is more proactive and less poising like it was during his slumps. Also, I think he basically got it out of his system during the year. Last year he hit terribly in the playoffs, but he won the MVP. This year could be reverse. I just hope they don't have to put Chuck Knoblach in at 3rd to improve defense. :)

Terrible as usual in clutch time! He can't perform when the game is on the line.

What he always does in the post season:

Choke and allow the other team to win by his errors.
