They are kind of the opposite of what they were three years ago. Before they had an offense and no defense. Now they have a defense but no offense. If they can get thier recievers to actually catch the ball, this team might be a playoff contender. The defense is good enought to keep the game close. Johnson usually plays fairly conservative and mistake free football. If they had a recieving threat, the running game would open up a little bit.
Comparing the Vikes to other teams in that division, they are less of a joke than the Lions or Packers. They are a better team than those like Oakland, Houston, Tennessee, Miami, and Arizona, but they are no Indianapolis or Chicago. This is not a Super Bowl team, but it is not the worst in the league.

Im still mad that the Panthers lost to them. They got lucky one one stupid play from the kicker, Ryan Longwell. I think the Vikings are 1-2 and Ryan Longwell is 1-0. Kicker throws for a touchdown cmon!!!
