sure it isn't heartburn? didn't know gas could go all the way up to the heart lol.

It's definitely something you've eaten, which you cannot digest and it's gassy, The only thing that helped me get rid off it fast, 75% of the time, is drinking a bottle of beer quite quickly and it has to be out of the bottle ( I hate beer). But that usually makes me burp like a sailor ( nothing against sailors) and most of the time it brought relief in a few minutes. If it didn't I have another one and by that time I am usually quite drunk and can take the pain, but after the second bottle it usually went away too.
And yes it can feel like a heart attack or a pain between your shoulderblades.

Jessica, Seriously,contact a doctor NOW. Heart problem symptoms are often different for women then men and should not be ignored...if by some chance you are having a cardiac event the sooner you get help the better !

Could be heartburn or indigestion. I get it all the time, and it is very painful and uncomfortable. If it persists, see your doctor. He or she can recommend medicin for it, or offer ways in which to relieve the discomfort naturally.

have you had laproscopic surgery lately?? Ask your doctor.... could be more than just "trap" gas.
