I was wondering what people thought of instant messaging??i just resently got aim triton and i have been talking to a few people that i dont know.should i keep talking to them??they hav asked me a couple questions that i would not normally tell people, but i didnt mine doing so.whay should i do??

Hey Lizzy! Well, I've been chatting for years, and most of the people I chat with, I've never met in person. I think chatting is a good way to have interesting conversations wid people you otherwise would have never have gotten a chance to speak so openly with. I don't see why you should stop talking to them, just know your limits.
The anonymity of the internet is one of its coolest features, but that's what makes it kind of dangerous, too. I've been chatting for about seven years, and all throughout, I've never given anyone my physical mailing address, or my last name. Never give out your home phone #, either. Establishing and staying within your limits can only help an online relationship, cuz you've got greater peace of mind that this person can't find you, in case things don't work out.

Teh people can just pop up on your screen and instant message you.Very temptint to reply but dont they can hack into your server.
