I'm going to be Keira Knightley specifically, with a Will Turner and a Jack Sparrow. All the costumes I have found are too expensive and too cheesy, so I want to come up with something myself. Any ideas?

thats an awesome idea. i guess u can buy different fabrics and make it yourself. If thats too compliacted, you can buy an old fashioned dress and then add details that you see and like on costumes at the store.

have not considered too many tame costumes on the internet. you could likely in simple terms positioned on a black skirt and any striped blouse (homemade...a lot less $$$) and positioned on a lovable headscarf round your head. various fake rings, and so on...you could purchase gold funds (sweet) and bypass them out! you'd prevail! good luck!

Yeah get an old dress and make it looked worn, preferably old fashioned, I suggest you got o a yard sale they have old things for like a quarter that you could use GOOD DEAL!!!!

Why don't you use old sheets and with a mix of some girl-looking purate girl shirts and clothes? Maybe that can help.
