Tampa Bay was in 1976 not 1986.
It is now harder to go win-less because of parity.

In 1976, in their inaugural season, the Tampa Bay buccaneers went 0-14(before the league went to a 16-game schedule in 1978). In 2001, the Carolina Panthers won their first game (beat MIN 24-13 and lost the next 15 (finishing at an obvious 1-15)
Notwithstanding:
1960 DAL 0-11-1
1982 BAL COLTS 0-8-1 (strike shortened season)
1942 DET 0-11
1943 CARDINALS 0-10
Despite a 4-1 preseaon, OAK is 0-3. I don't know what happened yesterday against CLE, but Raider Nation better be right-pissed at the coach. The ONLY possible chances I can foresee a win:

week 13 HOU
But who knows, with the ways some of these 'contender' teams are playing, OAK could end up 6-10 or 5-11. But Raider Nation should brace for a possible 3-13.

The last NFL team to go winless in a season was the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers who went 0-16 then lost their first 10 games in 1977 to start off losing the first 26 games they played before finally knocking off the New Orleans Saints 33-14.
