I use a homeopathic remedy for my stress. It is called NaturalCare Anxiety Relief. It really helps me out a lot. When I start feeling stressed or anxious, I just take one of the pills, and it helps me relax and calm down within a few minutes. My uncle who works with abused children has started taking it when he has stressful court cases to attend, and it has really helped him. When I first started taking this stuff, I was suffering from severe panic attacks, and I did not think the Anxiety Relief was doing much to help me when I got stressed out. However, since I have learned how to cope with panic attacks, I can tell that the Anxiety Relief really does help when I start getting stressed.

I hate over the counter or even prescribed solutions. I find that the best method that I can obtain and utilize is to smoke a nice joint. It takes the edge off of stress and works promptly. Yes, in this world it is deemed illegal, however, for 30 years now, it has been the only best solution for me. I have watched others get involved in over the counter and then into prescribed Medicines, and they may work but have more side effects than my joint. I fire one up in the evening after a stressful day, and I feel able to relax my insides and be comfortable.

a good stress b100 complex would be good in addition to what you said. it's hard to say what will work for you. it's like regular drugs, not everything works for everyone. also, prayer or meditation can be a great stress reducer and mood enhancer. you can also check wtih a local natural food store (wild oats, whole foods, etc...) they can give you some information, and point you in the right direction. the link below might be helpful too. have you tried a natropath? they are trained like an md plus they are trained in homeopothy, herbs and such. some wild oats markets even have a natropath that will do a minimal consult.

there is also dr andrew weil. he is an md that has also trained in alternative medicine. he has written many books on all kinds of natural healing. i love his books, and they are available at the library or regular book stores. his web site has lots of resources too. http://www.drweil.com/drw/ecs/index.html
there are lots of mixed formulas too.
you could always try rescue remedy, or calms forte. they are homeopathic, and i have used both.

good luck to you in your quest for a natural solution.

Massage to help relax the muscles, essential minerals to support restoration of brain chemistry imbalance secondary to long term stress, adrenal cortical supplements to aide restoration of proper stress gland function, a highly absorb-able multi-vitamin for basic function, and a good holistic chiropractor that knows all this.

High levels of antioxidants (A, E & C), along with high amounts of B Complex is a good way to manage stress. Add in a cup or two of green tea a day (no sugar or artificial sweeteners), and regular exercise and you should be feeling great within a month.

I read a book written by a doctor called "The Stress Cure". In that book he spoke of DHEA. I started taking it about two years ago, and it has made a HUGE difference in my life. I recommend the book highly. Suggest you get it, read it and make your own conclusions as to whether or not DHEA will work for you. It has worked extremely well for me.

Try looking into supplements that offer adrenal support. Take lots of fiber 30-60 minutes before your meals. Fiber helps in weight loss.
