Most doctors will tell you to have at least 2 periods after the pill before trying, so that they can more accurately date your pregnancy. To track ovulation when you have irregular periods can be hard, but you can buy ovulation predictor strips on-line or in the drug store. Good luck.

When I came off birth control my doctor told me to wait 3 cycles before TTC. This way all the birth control is out of your system. I would get on prenatals now so that those are in your system as well incase you get pregnant right away. You periods may be a little irregular at first but some are regular from the get go... It all depends on your body... I use the website mymonthlycycles.com you can chart if you want, you can do an ovulating calendar, you can track when you should have your periods... I love the website... I also use the ovulation kits you can buy at the store... Just follow the directions and the test will come out positive when you are ovulating... Last thing... Sex everyother day is best!!!

Good Luck

Doctors may tell you to do one thing, but it is possible to become pregnant the first month off the pill. So unless you are planning to not have sex, be ready for it anytime after stopping. Depending on how long you have been on the pill, your period may revert back to irregular land or it may stay like it was on the pill. good luck
