I tried to have sex one time but it hurt too much but his penis was like in me kinda but I didn't actually do it because it hurt too much. Am i still a virgin on not, because I want to be.

if so, I think you have every right to claim that you almost weren't but that your virginity was preserved

You can try to be overly technical and decide based on whether your hymen is still intact, but it sounds from your description like you had a man in there at least part way. That makes you a non-virgin, whether you were able to complete the act or not.

Sorry young lady but penetration inside the vagina means that you're not. Don't feel bad it was your first time and hopefully you and the guy are still together. If not then you might want to tell the next guy to be more slow and careful, because you want to enjoy it to.

lol!! its funny cause um ive been in this situation. Look ur a virgin if u want to be a virgin, only in this case. I told my boyfriend about that situation he was pissed but hey he wanted to know. If you just attempted to have sex and your hymen was not broken, and if you stopped just short of it; then technically yes, you are still virgin. If you had bleeding and full penetration, then no; you are not one.

yes and no, maybe... was there any blood? if yes, then he probably broke your hymen and then medically speaking, you are no longer a virgin. but it is also possible to "break" your hymen by masturbating or being "fingered" and your hymen only breaks once. in the sense of virginity and most religions, you are no longer a virgin. hope this helps.
