If you think about something all the time, even to the exclusion of other things, that is a sign of obsession and mania, and not necessarily love.

Of course many people who get in love become obessive. But this is not obligatory at all, and in many senses perhaps not too healthy.

The bottom line, really, is that you feel how you feel. If one person feels one way when they're in love and another person feels differently, I don't think it makes one of them 'right' and the other one 'wrong'. It just makes them different. And there's nothing wrong with that!

Look thinking about the person is not suppose to be a chore. When you're truly in love they appeare in your mind unexpectly. An example with is me when I go out with someone & all of a sudden I will see a chevy I would smile. I know is strange but he works in a chevy dealer & that reminds me of him. Even when I see a burger (he likes burgers). There is no time limit in thinking of a person sometimes you may think of them all day or sometimes they will appear in your mind in the middle of the day. Infatuation is when that person does not know that you exsist or is that person does not want anything to do with you but you just can't let it go.Talking about the person is also not a chore. If the person does not come up in the conversation all the time dose not mean you love them less. Sometime they may come up or sometimes not.

Love or Infatuation?
Infatuation is instant desire. It is one set of glands calling to another.
Love is a friendship that has caught fire. It takes root and grows, one day at a time.
Infatuation is marked by a feeling of insecurity. You are excited and eager, but not genuinely happy. There are nagging doubts, unanswered questions, little bits and pieces about your beloved that you would just as soon not examine too closely. It might spoil the dream.
Love is quiet understanding and the mature acceptance of imperfection. It is real. It gives you strength and grows beyond you to bolster your beloved. You are warmed by his/her presence even when he/she is away. Miles do not separate you. You want him/her nearer, but near or far, you know he/she is yours and you can wait.
Infatuation says, "We must have sex/be together/get married right away! I can't risk losing you!"
Love says, "Be patient. Do not panic. Plan your future with confidence."
Infatuation has an element of sexual excitement. If you are honest, you can admit it is difficult to be in one another's company unless you are sure it will end in sex.
Love is the maturation of friendship. You must be friends before you can be lovers.
Infatuation lacks confidence. When he/she is away you wonder if he/she is cheating. Sometimes you check.
Love means trust. You are calm, secure and unthreatened. Your beloved feels that also and that makes them even more trustworthy.
Infatuation might lead you to do things you will regret later, but love never will.
Love is an upper. It makes you look up. It makes you think up. It makes you a better person.

You are overanalyzing love...
cheesy as it may sound, there really isnt a right or wrong way to think. You can think about someone nonstop whether your inlove with them or infatuated...part of falling in love is an infatuation anyway. If you feel something you just do...dont beat yourself trying to figure out what it is.

i imagine its the latter. I used to imagine there develop into that one person that no count number what you'll finally end up with them if it develop into meant to be. yet after some journey and some wondering your alternatives dictate your destiny and making undesirable alternatives can quit your chuffed ending from occurring which consists of that person that would want to were. yet in the grand scheme of existence none individuals will not in any respect truly understand and that i imagine thats the secret and charm behind the concept of "genuine love".

sounds like a big crush.

ask yourself this.... do you feel that even when they do something you wouldn't have done, or don't agree with, or that upsets you, can you blow it off with the understanding that they did it because in some way it made sense to them and some how they decided to do it that way even if u can't make it make sense to you and just let whatever it is go and still go on feeling the same way about them, wanting to be with them and show them your affection and support anyway?

ok,

I love my GF very much and always think about her, she's in the forfront of my thinking, I'm abit of a risk taker when it comes to driving but everytime I think about taking a risk I here her voice saying "Mitch, dont be so stupid cause it'd kill me if you died from this" so sometimes it stops me and others its just to late.

But I think that if you really love someone then you should always have them in your mind and be thinking about them at every oportunity.

cheers.

When you're in love, you help how much think about them. Just enjoy the ride.
