My husband and I have decided to stop using any form of birth control - we figure that it will happen if it's supposed to happen. My cycle is not a regular one anyway, but I'm about 5 days late. Any advice or comments on some of the early signs of pregnancy? I don't feel pregnant, but I know that it differs from woman to woman. My mother said that she "just knew". I have had the usual PMS symptoms, but nothing yet... Any advice on how long to wait to take a pregnancy test?

take it now HCG, the hormone that the test is looking for, can show up on a test the day you are supposed to start you cycle. the levels will double everyday for the early part of pregnancy so if it has been 6 days since you start date then you should have sufficient levels of the hormone to test.

Well I am 32 and my husband and I were TTC with our first. I am now 2 days late. I have been a little tired, tender left breast, a little hungrier than usual, and I just have this sixth sense now that I am. I am waiting a few more days to actually take a HPT. Lots of baby dust coming your way good luck!

it sounds like a good poss. I didnt have any signs either. I had a friends say, are you pregnant because you just have this glow about you. Well I was still like 3 days till my period, and i took a test for the fun of it and sure enough. That was a weird way to find out..if I didnt I wouldnt have known.

I know there is a test out there that will let you know 2 days after you are late. Just ask the pharmacist. I can't remember the name of the test. Good luck!

if i were you i would test now (get like the EPT test) if you are not preggos and still do not have a period retest. if still neg go to the doctors.
it is really hard to give a definite answer to your question. Everyone is different. My firdt pregs i knew right away.
The second time i had no clue, none other the signs, and still had a period....

You can do a test even a couple days before you miss your period.
Give it a try - maybe you'll have a suprise.
Symptoms usually dont kick in until about 2 weeks after you missed your period.

IF YOU ARE LATE IT'S A SURE SIGN THAT YOU MITE B PREG. ANYWAY WHEN I WAS PREG I FELT AS IF I WAS GOING TO START AND I NEVER DID. I ALSO THOUGHT I WAS PREG AS WELL, BUT MAYB YOU SHOULD TAKE A TEST. BESTWISHES
