Yes he should be. His actions were totally uncalled for.

No. The player's union would never allow it and an arbitrator would agree with them. Yes it was the cheapest of cheap shots He'll get fined and not sure whether he will be suspended for a lengthy time. Normally, a two game suspension but the public is really jacked up about this so the NFL may get tough and give him more games off. Of course, when he does play all eyes will be on him and he will not be as effective. He even sneezes and he will get a 5 yd penalty. Fair nope but that's life.

No way! That Haynesworth should be sitting in jail somewhere for assault. That is NOT what football is about and he's an embarrassment to his family, his teammates, the Titans coaching staff and personnel, and all football fans. Talk about a sore loser!!

I would suspend him indefinitely until he completes some kind of anger management course. What happened on the field should never occur under any circumstances.

I think the league's five week suspension is about the absolute minimum that I would think about. I think six to eight weeks would have been more acceptable.

I personally think he should have been suspended for the season. He received a 5 game suspension without pay. It is the harshest suspension to date in the NFL.

He should be charged with assault. That had nothing to do with the game or the playing. It was a completely different, intentional assault. I think he should be suspended until that dude's head has completely healed.

I won't say necessarily the rest of the year, but he does deserve a hefty suspension and a substantial fine. What he did was completely and totally uncalled for.

No. Half the remainder of the Titans' schedule should suffice.

a year or more, what if he would have blinded that guy, or worse....he could have killed him... and just apologizing and a slap on the wrist of five game suspension is ridiculous.... our youth are learning a bad lesson here.

Yes. And I'm a Titans fan.
I will say, in his defense though, that his behavior was uncharacteristic of him.
