Can I just say that even if he was very sensible with yellow reflectors on, if it was night time and the car had no lights on there would be no light to reflect, reflectors need light to reflect back to its source ie headlights, hence the name reflecors. I think you changed the answer because all these good lateral thinkers got it right, Because it was indeed daylight.

I am not sure I follow...is there supposed to be humor here or is it in a song (hence the music forum)...What is this all about and why is it reflectors and not the obvious "daytime" answer? How do we know the answer wasn't really daytime and because everyone guessed the answer you thought no one could...you changed it to something else?

Obviously the driver is a Sociopath and as such should not be allowed near anything with a spark plug. That guy was lucky not to be turned into a skidmark.

The country lane could have been illuminated, he could have had a torch, he could have been walking with someone with a bright flourescent jacket, it could in fact be daytime.
