Where are they building these concentration camps, exactly? I saw a question about this some time ago, and one of the places that the government was supposedly building a concentration camp (the list said Fort Lewis/McChord AFB, Washington State) is an area I'm VERY familiar with. The two bases are actually a few miles apart, and there is no concentration camp there. I would know. I know both like the back of my hand. My husband and I were stationed at Lewis, and we visited McChord all the time. We loved their BX.
So if THAT one wasn't true, I suspect that the others are ALSO not true.

The real answer is because of our draconian mandatory minimum sentencing guidelines, all of our prisons are already full of non-violent first time drug offenders so there's precious little room for actual criminals. So instead of solving the problem the rational way, we build more prisons.

I have heard of no such thing. The experience of interning the Japanese during WWII was our last experience with such things and I don't see another happening.
