I have small brown eyes that look half closed and light skin. I am wearing a deep like plum color I guess you would call it and I have no idea what kind of eyeshadow to wear with that. I really want to stand out after all I am the bride. Also any advice on how I could make my wedding dress look more like a wedding dress and not a prom dress. I can't find a wedding veil in that deep plum color.
Thanks alot

Why not wear a white dress?? You will regret wearing a plum colored dress...no offense.

You need to try the Almay I-Color line. It is great for making your eyes "pop" and these colors are great for a wedding. My wedding dress was a leftover from Easter, but I made my own veil and my own flowers, so it worked out pretty well. But I do have to question as to why a plum colored dress for your wedding? Maybe you can find a nice hat with a small veil???

Find a white veil and dye it the color of your dress if you really want a veil. Try your local beauty salon or makeup counter at the mall and see if they can help you with you makeup. What color dresses are the bridesmaids wearing? I think you may stand out enough if you are wearing a non traditional dress color like plum.

Check out www.theknot.com
They have a lot of great tips and ideas. If I was to give you my opinion, I'd try to not match the color exactly. I'd do a mix of light purples, medium purples, and rosy pinks. That way your dress will still really stand out. It sounds beautiful!
For the veil, you could see if a tailor could dye it the color you want. That way you don't have to drive yourself crazy trying to find a plum veil.
