You mean like when 2 billiard balls are bound by a compressed spring and the spring is allowed to expand sending the balls flying away from each other?

I wouldn't necessarily call this "creating momentum." Momentum is constrained by a conservation principal, hence only external forces can change a systems momentum. In the example above, the total momentum before and after the spring released is the same, zero!

In animals and humans momentum is always created by internal force. for example when you start running the chemical energy of food is transformed into kinetic energy.

The water stress is pushing the pipe outwards from the interior. of direction there must be a reaction stress pushing in course of the water yet those are in equilibrium. Water being a fluid, the stress has little impact on the water.
