Saran wrap can be used as a last resort, it is safer than using nothing but theres no guarantee that it will work and it isnt advised to use this as a means for safe sex.
With the pill you should be fine but make sure you take it every day. There is no excuse for not taking it.
As far as your period is concerned, you can be up to 2 weeks late and still not be pregnant, if you are unsure or not feeling well see your healthcare professional.

If you started taking the pills at the prescribed time (usually the first Sunday after your menstrual period begins), and have been taking them correctly since beginning, you are protected immediately. Between the Saran wrap (which, aesthetics aside, is airtight) and proper use of the pill, it's unlikely you are pregnant. Should you have failed to start your period in a couple of weeks (especially if you didn't take the pills correctly) then it's time to get a test.

If you were on the pill for at least 7 days before the saran wrap incident, you should be okay as long as you took your pill everyday. In the future, consider waiting until you have a condom.

You are probably safe. They say to wait a month before depending on the pill, but really you had some of it in your system. As far as the saran wrap goes, I have only heard of failures that way. I would not worry.

when you got the pill it clearly states not to have sex 14 days after taking it. Honey, using wrap is about as safe as having unsafe sex or the pull out method. you may get away with not being pregnant, but i have allot of friends who were playing with the pill and are now currently pregnant. go and see your doc, trust me there is nothing you can say to them that will surprise them, they have herd every excuse tin the book... good luck and hope you get the results you want

Are you kidding? Would you wrap your sandwich in a condom? I would not do that again. If you guys are that horny go rent a porno. Also you need to take the pill regularly or you WILL get pregnant. If will also throw off your period if you don't take them correctly.
Look at it this way. If you ARE pregnant, you have a hell of a story to tell your baby. Name it Sarah Good luck

it is definitely not safe to use for sex. yes you could still get pregnant. there are probably tiny holes that you can't even see. and you are supposed to take the pills for several months before they are 99% effective. the only thing you have on your side, is that you probably already ovulated since you are very close to getting your period. the first day of your menstrual cycle is the first day of your period. most women ovulate on or near day 14 which is seven days after your period. so, you might still be safe but i'd never do that again/
