He should be TOSSED out of the NFL without his remaining salary and should spend time in jail, pay a fine both from th NFL and th USA. This was by far the worst sportsman like conduct I have ever seen. I dont think I will even watch his team play if he is playing even if he is playing against my favorite team in the superbowl and I have front row seats that I got for free. I wouldnt waste my time.

Mandatory Psychiatric Evaluation. I've seen a few games where bad things went down (i.e. Marcus Vick 'stepping' on that lineman's leg in that January Bowl game...) For a guy to just 'step' on another human being's face like that... The guy ain't wired right.

Steps NEED to be taken to prevent another possible Rae Carruth from happening again...

Haynesworth needs to undergo anger-managent treatment, and I think, if he completes with some degree of success, AND as a part of a requirement to return to the team (not that 0-4 is something to come back to), he should speak out PUBLICLY
about anger-control and abuse.

If RIcky Williams can be suspended for drug-abuse, why is a player who intentionally caused harm to another, only getting a suspension?

Yeah, that became a complete loser action by skill of Haynesworth, yet what do you assume, he went to the college of Tennessee. no longer extremely confident what your total Jesse Jackson rant became all about contained in the question, form of bringing your politics out truly of extremely asking a question, yet he could receive a 4 sport suspension, reminiscent of the suspension given to gamers for a first drug offense. it truly is an danger for the recent commissioner to expose what he's made from although.

Should have been suspended for the season and required to take anger management classes prior to being allowed to play again. He should also be charged with assault and be punished in the criminal justice system.

Unfortunately, he only received a 5 game suspension without pay - that is the toughest the NFL has dished out to date.

I think he should have recieved a 3 game suspension without pay and a 100,000 fine. Also he must miss all games the player he stomped on is out.

a huge fine, not one that would not hurt his back pocket, but a nice lump some and then donate it to a charity of good cause.
Also he is done for the season, the nfl does not need to have those actions on the field at all. Remove from the nfl

Eight games (half season) suspension. If he had connected full on there would have been the possibility of severe damage. That would probably have led to charges (as happened in hockey a couple of years ago).

Hrmm...well he should have his anus violated by a tractor driving monkey. Then washed down with vinegar and acid, all topped off with getting his penile area stuck in a blender and stuck to puree mode until squishy.

Either that or a ban with some fine..the usual.

He should get criminal prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. That's felony assault with intent to cause serious harm or even attempted murder. Some people may try to minimize it, but remember his helmet had come off.

He should get his head stomped on! that looked like it hurt! But really, I think he should be suspended for the season, if not at least for like 5 games or something! That's bullcrap, they shouldn't take their damn job so seriously!
