I think with the political climate in the U.S. I think it's time for a change and Obama is one of the better politicians in the U.S. political cesspool. But I think he needs a few more years before even thinking about the U.S. presidency! He's a good man but he needs more time in government or maybe he'll be the best man because he's to young in his career to be corrupted! What do you guys think?

Yes he should -- in about 8 or 12 years.

Haven't we seen what happens in this country when we elect a President with no experience of government at the national level?

I would vote for him in a heartbeat. US politicians, who are so corrupt and full of themselves (Republicans AND Democrats), control the system and wouldn't dare let Obama get even a toehold. He's ready, will be even more so by 2008, and is the ONLY sane person on the horizon with even a sliver of a chance to return SOME semblance of democracy to the USA.

IMHO, it's already too late.

I agree with you. I think Obama will be a great president one day, but I am hoping that he waits another 4-8 years to run.

I vote conservative, but I would rather vote for him than many of the other Dems I watch.

Yes, as fast as he can, as if his a$$ is on fire.

Please let him run. Please. He is not electable.
