I kinda doubt it. For a while, I was picking 2006 to be a subway series -- Yanks v. Mets. But right now the Twins just seem unstoppable. As of this moment in time, I think it'll be Dodgers v. Twins. I'm betting on the fact that the Mets losing Pedro will eventually do them in.

I'd also really like to see the Dodgers get in. I'm actually a Cubs fan, so I'm rooting for Maddux, Garciaparra and Lofton.

In an ideal world, I'd like it to be Yankees v. Dodgers. Now that's some old school baseball fun.

If the Tigers can recover, you might see a repeat of the 1984 WS. The Dodgers might be able to get past the Mets weakened pitching, but they won't get past the Padres. The Padres abused the Cardinals and the Dodgers during the regular season this year.

No I see a rematch of the 2000 World Series. Baseball being played by the 2 teams from the Capital of the Universe.

No, the NL is down this year, but I think the Mets will give the Dodgers fits. I also don't think Oakland is for real this year, but took advantage of Anaheim's injury problems to make the playoffs.

No, I think the best two teams that are going to play are the New York Yankees and the New York Mets. I don't think anyone can beat the mets in the NL and no one is going to beat the Yankees because the tigers have been choking they got swept by the royals (my favorite team) and twins aren't good enough.
