Hair turns gray has nothing to do with you being scared.

I don't know about about being scared, but shock or stress can cause it. It happened to a friend of mine when his wife died, not quite overnight, but in a short space of time.

Yes, extreme shock to the body can do that. Scientists still can't really explain it.
