When do you start feeling comfortable with your significant other being in the bathroom when you're using it? Like you're using it and they just feel comfortable walking in on you? Since i'm very modest I doubt i'll ever feel comfortable with that...but maybe for married people it's different. Guess it just depends on comfort level.

My husband and I don't walk in on each other when in the bathroom...it's rude and people need their privacy in there! Not to mention I've smelled the bathroom AFTER my husband used it and I sure don't want to be in there during the process! lol

I have only been married for 5 months, but we have lived together for 3 1/2 years. We don't mind being in the bathroom together. It was a little odd at first but we got used to it. Then had to get used to it again when he came back from Iraq. It is just one of those things that some people are comfy with and some are not. Talk to your significant other if you are not comfy with him in the bathroom while you are using it.

Everyone is different on this. How you feel about it is the important thing. You partner should respect that and not come in when the door is closed.

There are a lot of people that have no problem with this but just as many do.

I personally have no problem peeing with her in there but the other I prefer to do alone. She has no problem with either. She respects my wishes so we are good with that.

Only do what you are comfortable with. This is not a problem. Now if you felt this way about being nude with him then you have a problem. The loss of intimacy you have there is way too important to over look.

It's different for everybody. It took me months after I was married. The more you experience his acceptance of you over things you find a little embarrassed about then it will grow. Like, if you ever tripped in front of him and it was no big deal. Or, if you passed gas and you both laughed about it. Maybe if he does something and instead of you keeping silent, tell him "oh, honey! I still think you're the hottest guy around!" He'll see that both of you are real and have more fragrances to yourselves than just roses.

I feel comfortable doing it because he's already seen me in my birthday suit,he knows every inch of my body, when I first wake up (not a pretty sight), when I have a 100 degree temp. & my body hurts so much I need help going to the bathroom. Why wouldn't I feel comfortable with him he is my soulmate & the love of my life!

I've been married for almost 3 yrs and I'm still a bit uncomfortable when he walks into the bathroom when I'm doing my business. He on the other hand doesn't mind but I still give him his privacy.

When you are married you share your life with someone, I guess that includes the use of the bathroom. If you are uncomfortable with your mate being with you while you are using it, he should have enough respect fro you to stay out . Common courtesy.

It depends on comfort level, communication, friendship. If your husband is also your best friend believe me you won't care about doing number 2 around him.

I have been married for 38 years and would not for one moment think about walking into the toilet when my wife was using it. It has nothing to do with modesty, it is pure good manners and having respect for one another.
