I am creating 5 tiers of service, Bronze, Silver, Gold... but, I'm struggling with the last two, Titanium and Platinum. Also open to other suggestions.

Most people know platinum as being used in jewelery (platinum rings etc), and most people would know of titanium as being a "space-age metal" or something similar due to its use in high-intensity industrial applications.

Highest level credit cards are usually the "platinum" ones, so maybe you could also consider that in making your decision. As a side note, some are now also starting to call things that are even fancier "Iridium", I've seen at least one credit company use that, but I'm uncertain how many people actually know about it.

Anyways, if you're staying with those two, my vote goes for platinum at the top.

Hope that helps!

edit: I just remembered that in record sales, it goes Gold(500,000), Platinum (1 million), then Diamond (10 million). You could also use diamond instead of titanium, unless you're going with a whole metallic theme.

Titanium is a strong, light, corrosion and heat resistant material but is unfortunately expensive. There are specialised engineering applications where it is the best material in spite of its cost (eg some parts of gas turbines)

Platinum has industrial use as a catalyst, for example in the oil refining catalytic reforming process, an economically very important process for producing gasoline and aromatic compounds. A single cat reformer may contain millions of dollars worth of platinum dispersed on a silica substrate.

Edited Comment: You talk about 'perceived value' and 'tiers of service' which (assuming you are not talking about price which is a function of supply and demand) is a rather meaningless concept given that everyone's perspective will vary. Is it a case of a very stupid question?

platinum should really be higher than bronze, silver and gold - it is worth more, and therefore is worth more than titanium
