The scariest movie of all time is the original "Halloween" because its a crazy guy, who walks slow and doesnt talk and at the time, had no reason for killing this people. He just did.

I found both "The Shining" and "The Exorcist" pretty scary. But a guy I know who claims never to get scared at horror/suspense movies said that "Jacob's Ladder" absolutely terrified him. I've never seen it myself, though.
