yes, weird, considering the month before the WH got a memo stating that planes would be used to fly into big buildings in New York City. Now I understand that they couldn't be sure WHICH buildings, but to say they didn't know, well they are either lying, or they didn't read the memo. I'm not sure which is worse, but they both had the same outcome. 3000 dead americans on 9/11

I have been saying this ever since she said it and also in some of my answers here. There were many available facts that indicated that terrorists highjacking planes and flying them into buildings was a possibilty -- see link.
She lied to cover up the fact that she had failed, as National Security Advisor to pay any attention to terrorism in the months before 9/11 -- or worse.
She lies all the time.
The government is not "Just a bunch of people like you and me" Rice's job was "National Security Advisor" -- to protect the country from attack and that is also the job of President, the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Agencies -- they have access to all kinds of information not readily available to the general public. Protecting the country form attack is not the job of the average person on the street. That is a pathetic excuse for these people -- who didn't do their jobs properly or worse.
Also, I find it interesing that Bush defenders often use the arguement that the government knows stuff that we average people couln't possibly know, how smart they all are and we should trust our government, then when they screw up, all of a sudden they are just ordinary people like you and me.

A few days after 911 CNN reported that the Pentagon had done a simulated test of airliners flying into the Word trade towers one day before 911. I watched it myself.

That was a lie. Remember the "Bin Laden intent on attacking America" memo. Well there were also documents to show that they US considered the whole planes as weapons idea also, before the attack.

She was lying because it's her job to lie to the people. If the people were told the truth she'd be on a plane to Iraq permanently.

My reaction to her is that she is staying with us to recuperate, she will be able to no longer be any good to the toddler if she is going living house and collapses and that i have despatched a nurse to assist her husband.

No it wasn't weird. When the hell has anyone in history flown a plane purposely into a building? She was not lying. You and people like you are ridiculously stupid to think that this was anything other than what it was.

No, I do not think it weird. I had never heard of it nor imagined it, myself. I am still horrified. I'm not sure what you are saying about yourself that you COULD imagine it...
What I do find weird is that liberals want to say that 9-11 was an "inside job."
Bush could have gotten us into Iraq without going to so much trouble as all that...
