My swim instructor ( who is around my age) always calls me by my name but doesn't call the others ( who are a lot younger) by their names?

uve mentioned in ur q " around my age ", well tht answers it. she wants ur relation to be more friend type than a student - instructor one.

Because you're older and he won't seem as a pervert towards the younger ones.If not interested asked to be called by miss, mrs, ms, or last name.
If female do'nt mean can't have feelings for you as a friend or other-wise.

is ur instructor a boy or girl?
if boy, he might just like you.
or he is just comfy calling u by ur first name.
sometimes i dont like calling people by their real names b4 i get to kno them, i kno its weird...but yeap. dont get to worked up.
