want to change one .sys file when the system is running.?

i just waan to change one system file called Persi0.sys waan to change it to Persi0.bak. but it gives an erroer that the system file may be in use. but u can change it but in dos. so tell me hoe can i change it without dos

i never heard of that kind of file before, so try google search

You can change it if you go to run, type in msconfig when that comes up go to the startup tab and unclick the box that has that file after it. Restart your system and the file will not be in use.. then rename it.
