No I don't have to know everything and it's also impossible to know everything. I have found out through the years that the more I thought I knew about something the more I found out that I really didn't know anything about it at all and that there is still a lot to learn for me.
We don't need to know everything but we can learn all the things that we want to and enjoy it while we are at it.

Since no one person can possibly know everything, most people do the best by learning a few things very well. Trying to know everything can make you that old saw, "Jack of all trades, master of none." Learn to be the best you can be at the thing that brings you the most joy and satisfaction, and keep on learning all your life.

Who knows everything, alot of people have knowledge about mroe things than other but you are always learing new things about something reading gains and gives you tyhat knowledge you need.
As you often here people saying oh i didnt know that or oh really.
You learn something new everyday as there is so much information it all depends on how much your brain can store. We tend to know more about the things we have interest in and like.

I CAN'T know everything (I wish I could), so I can't say that I have to. I'm not aware of anybody placing the responsibility upon me to know everything.

Having said that, I'm curious, I like to learn, and I want to learn as much as possible. I hope to learn everything I need to know to fulfill the responsibilities in life that have been placed upon me by those who are wiser than us and are in a sufficiently superior moral position, compared to us, to do so.

Oh, sure I would like to more...especially what was out there before the "big bang.'' But not everything. Wouldn't it be kinda scary to know when the grim reaper is due to make his appearance?

Interesting question. Avoiding the flippant response I will state that I do not try to know everything, instead, I try and develop the ability to reason and think.

No - you just have to know enough to survive - if you know more then it's an advantage but not a necessity !

I read your About Me profile:-

So here's one for you:-

Have you ever looked upon the dark side of your mind and shocked yourself and said to yourself ''I can't believe I just thought of that'' - and then felt guilty that you thought of whatever it was you thought of ?

Well, it's good to know a lot of things and you can never stop learning and learning can be quite fun and interesting at times.

No. There are things I do not want to know.

I don't want to know soap opera plots, songs that will only get stuck in my head and what people look like as they die in a war waged for oil
