why? are they jealous? I have no choice..my bf is totally turned on by my lower back tattoo and there is no other way to show it...it is not like I am going pantiless or anything..I do wear a thong.

Because it is so lame. Noone does that but girls who want the wrong kind of attention. You have got to have more to offer than a tatoo. Let your face get the guys attention. Leave a little to the imagination. Noone wants to see your underwear but some guy who wants to get in your pants.

Low cut jeans are fine, but the the whole thong thing is trash and so is a lower back tattoo.
I think Vince Vaughn said it best in Wedding Crashers when referring to a girl with a lower back tattoo: it might as well be a bullseye.
And thongs are so out its ridiculous: what are you 18 years old?

Oh tell them to get over it and go get their own tattoo and tight jeans. I'm sure there are things you don't like about things they have or wear. Just make a big deal about "your not so favorite thing about them" right back. You do have a choice and there is nothing wrong with going pantie-less, I've gone pantie-less for over 3 years now. Do whatchya' like and damn everyone else. If they don't like it then don't look at it and if it means your friendship then I guess it wasn't a really strong one to begin with was it...

they are jealous especially if you look good in what your wearing, and if your boyfriend is a Hottie and looks better than their boyfriends (if they even have one) that's a double threat, and they probably want a tattoo also but don't have the guts or their "mommy" won't let them. Anyway do what makes you happy, not them.

their not jealous. I guess their just trying to look after you, but if they do consider you a **** I guess they should not be your friends. Its normal to show off your tattoo. Why else would you get it if you don't want to show it.

If it works for you.....go for it.
Keep in mind tho....that you can show off your body in public without possibly, perhaps, suggesting that you are something you really aren't.
Sometimes, it is what people imagine is under the clothes you wear that make you more attractive...than if you openly show it.
