Not enough time or space, but you don't need to know that. All you need to know is what I think you should know. I think you should know to put your TV on FOX now, I am not done with you!

Unfortunately I think politics is a necessary evil. I can't say I'm happy with it, but would not want to divert to something like a Saddam or OBL in charge.

I just wish that once the elections were over, the "politicians" would put their party affiliations aside and do what is best for the country and the people. Instead they sit there refusing to vote or just vote for things that they sponsor.

Take a look at the next State of the Union Address... while Bush is talking. The Republicans stand up and cheer and the Democrats just sit there and whine.

Not working together for the betterment of this country and it's citizens is an atrocity.

Politics is dirty and corrupt. Americas whole system of how people are elected is corrupt. We like to pretend like our government is by the people and for the people and rah rah but is it really?
Consider first that to be elected you have to make all sorts of promises to people who control things in your districts, schools, unions, whatever it is, you have to make promises to get support and financings. Then you finally get the office right you think great I can really do some good for my people! Wrong! The people who supported you now want you to make good on your promises or guess what re election time, they will forget your name. Its a horrid cycle that knows no end. You just prostitute yourself to the highest bidder to get elected in this country. The only way to have a government by the people and for the people, is if people can only serve one term, one term at anything, that way no one gets too comfortable and change is always happening. Campaigns should all be financed from the same pot, instead of donating to a specific party, it should be all be done equally. You take all the money that has been donated and raised for a campaign and you split it equally amongst candidates, maybe then you will get the chance for real change and a President who is actually one of us.Not someone who grew up like Richie Rich.
