Go to the court house where the papers were filed. Ask the court clerk for a copy of the documents. You'll probably have to fill out a form and pay a fee, so bring your checkbook and ID.

Write to the court where the divorce was finalized. Usually you need a certified letter requesting copy of the final divorce decree, you might need the date of the divorce.
Good luck.

You don't know cr*p from talking to him. Maybe he lied! If he got a divorce from you ( I doubt it) the papers would be on file in the Clerk of Courts office in the county in which they were filed. You maybe able to determine the file number by doing an on-line search.

the Clerk of Circuit Court has all public records on file. Whatever county you got divorced in, they will have it. It may cost a couple of bucks, but it's worth having them on hand.

Just send a request either to the county clerk or the clerk of court depending on what state your in. They usually charge so make sure you put a check with your request.
