Any unusual swelling during pregnancy should never be brushed aside. I was pre-eclamptic and had been experiencing swelling of the feet and hands. One of my OB docs told me it was due to the hot weather and kept telling me not to worry about it. Finally,I got to see his partner who diagnosed me correctly and saved my life and that of my baby. Get a second opinion, pronto. Not all doctors are as on top of the game as they should be.

IF THAT ONES NOT LISTENING FIND ANOTHER
ASAP BECAUSE U HAVE NO TIME TO WASTE
THIS COULD MORE THAN LIKELY BE PREECLAMPSIA
HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE DURING A PREGANCY THAT CAUSES SEVER SWELLING OF BODY

SO TAKE HER TO ANOTHER DOCTOR BECAUSE IT CAN ALSO BE THE SIGNS OF AN ALLEGIC REACTION OR WORSE
JUST TAKE HER SOMEWHERE ELSE

If you are worried about her, call the doctor and insist she be seen again immediately or head to the ER. Better to be safe than sorry!

Get a different doctor NOW. This is a big deal. Then get a lawyer.

It could be preeclampsia and she could end up paralyzed. She needs to see the doctor ASAP.

I would definitely take her to the doc & if her doc doesn't take her seriously go to another one. That sounds serious & somethng I wouldn't mess with.
