ABSOLUTELY NOT ! Do you know how many people look forward to listening to you guys when parade time rolls around ? or like in my town we have 'Evening Under the Stars' when all the marching bands from I don't know how many states get together for one night and play the most beautiful powerful vibrating music you've ever heard. You just be proud you're in a marching band, alot of people and other school kids as well envy your talent and ability to be a part of something like a marching band.

Nope. I was in the marching band for two years at my high school. A lot of outgoing people are in it and it's actually a good life experience. It takes A LOT of discipline and hard work. And the trips are a blast.
And it looks awesome on a college application.

absolutely not - alot of geeks join though... I know because I played in the drum line in marching band in high school and college. musician does not equal geek

Not at all, I was in marching band for all 4 years when I was in high school. It was a rewarding experience.

Marching band is gangster! Specially the drums. My friend Tyler is in the band and he plays trumpet. He's really cool and listens to gangster music. Band is flippin sweet.

NO. I myself would never be in a marching band but I have a friend name tyler in one, and he is really cool. He plays the trumpet, hes smart, cool, likes music, and is over all pretty popular. His music is a blend of screamo and havy metal. He's freaking awesome~!

Depends on your school. Kids in band tend to be smarter and get into better colleges. It may seem geeky to the jocks but when you're hanging with other bandos and your social circle becomes huge, its really fun!
